I found it fun to sort my artist list by any available continent, and pick a top three (yet, the escapades of somebody with too much time on her hands);

North America:

Canada: Junior Boys, Arcade Fire, Final Fantasy

United States: The Black Keys, The Strokes,

Mexico: Allison (I started listening to spanish songs for class and they're on repeat, so far) anyone with suggestions for Mexican artists or other Latin American groups?

Europe:

England: Klaxons, Arctic Monkeys, Mumford and Sons

France: The Teenagers, Justice, Uffie (to an extent)

Sweden: Mando Diao, Lykke Li, Jonna Lee

Australia: Miami Horror, Grafton Primary, Tame Impala

Oceana: PNAU, Ladyhawke, Kids of 88

* I'm aware that I didn't cover all of the continents and areas of the world, but my music list isn't so vast as other peoples'

Rip Curl Festival Ilbaritz 2011

I was in France for 4 weeks to make a language holiday.

At my almost last evening I was at the Rip Curl Festival. And I saw the Klaxons (I didn't know the band before) and they were GREAT!!!! It was such a good concert and I love the music!!

I'm really glad to got to know the Klaxons, because if not, I would miss out something.

I love each and every track, whereas on 'Myths Of The Near Future' there was a couple I didn't enjoy, but this new album is absolutely fantastic. Its been 3 long years but my god its been well worth the wait!!!

Hello guys, I'm just back from your live in "le Bikini" yesterday! I was hoping to see you in France and you went to the nearest big town from my home! That was a great gig, I was in the front, everyone was dancing! I'm not pro at all, just a spectator, but maybe you like having comments related to your gigs? Here is a list of my critics : The + :Great energy : you are moving all the time! Great power : Jamie, James and Simon moving all the time! Terrible music : it's in the guts! "C'est la premiere fois que nous venons à Toulouse" : not all the groups try to tell a phrase in French! The - : Drummer (Steffan) too far, seemed too much concentrated. Album songs not customized for gigs, you made exactly the same as the album. Flashover slowed down? The tempo is part of the song, it needs to be fast!
